San Francisco has an enormous woven web of wires hovering high above the streets, helping to make the city move. Even though I am proud to live in a city that is so eco forward, emission free transportation has little to do with beauty. It may be the one drawback from completely enjoying a full-on blue sky in the city.
This morning I came across a different set of wires, swinging from building to building interconnecting a small street in North Beach. From these wires, a bit of nostalgia lingered into my thought bank, and left me with a feeling I can only compare to losing myself down small streets in europe. If only for that moment, wires flinging under the blue sky, were not the worst thing that could impede my view in this city.
